The brother of a brutally murdered private investigator has
attended the launch of a book called Untouchables: Dirty Cops, Bent Justice And
Racism In Scotland Yard.
Alastair Morgans brother, Daniel, was found dead with an axe in his head in a
Sydenham pub car park in 1987. He has been calling for a public inquiry into his
brothers unsolved murder.
On Friday, Mr Morgan joined authors Michael Gillard and Laurie Flynn at the
House of Commons for the launch of their book.
Bermondsey MP Simon Hughes and Thurrock MP Andrew Mackinlay, who were both at
the event, have vowed to support calls for a public inquiry into the 1987 Morgan
murder.
